7. Family of Blood (3x09)Martha Jones has just spent two months watching the man she loves fall in love with someone else. Instead of being annoyed or angry with both of them like most people would be, Martha Jones shows her flawlessness once again by not only empathizing with Joan, but also being willing to try to make her feel better. She knows that the Doctor doesn’t do well with emotions and she wants to make sure Joan is okay. After everything Martha has gone through in the past two months, it wouldn’t have even crossed most people’s minds to check on the ex-girlfriend of the man they’re in love with. But then again, most people don’t have the level of compassion, caring and selflessness that Martha has.
